About the role
- Serve as Primer’s operational leader within San Antonio, reporting to the General Manager of Texas.
- Project manage Primer’s expansion in San Antonio, including launching several new campuses for the ‘26-’27 school year.
- Own local operations: develop processes, operational systems, and ensure families and students have a delightful experience.
- Work with real estate, education, operations, marketing, and admissions teams to evaluate locations and ensure campus success.
- Drive student growth by testing local strategies and playbook successful tactics for use in other cities.
- Own local relationships with families and education community leaders; represent Primer locally.
- Manage operational details (e.g., pickup/drop-off plans) and meet with families for enrollment decisions.
- Eventually hire and manage a team as Primer’s footprint in San Antonio grows.
Requirements
- You’re a builder and self-starter; experience navigating ambiguity and creating scalable systems out of chaos.
- Ability to execute at a fast pace while holding a high bar for quality.
- Experience managing a team in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Past accountability to aggressive growth, revenue, operating margin, and expansion targets.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Generalist willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuff done—both in the weeds and at the strategic level.
- Located in San Antonio or able to operate within the city.
