About the role

  • Recruit new member pharmacies for group purchasing and for the Preferred Provider Network
  • Develop credibility and foster relationships with Strategic Account leaders to close new business
  • Understand customer initiatives and deliver compelling value propositions for Premier Alternate Site
  • Focus on long-term care, infusion, and specialty Strategic Accounts including National Account Infusion Pharmacy providers
  • Reach sales goals by growing existing National Accounts and acquiring new contract categories
  • Maintain existing relationships and retain key customers through education about Premier CoC value added programs and savings analyses
  • Administrative tasks: follow up on member paperwork, send member designation forms, update National Account member facility rosters, complete monthly expenses, set appointments
  • Report to Vice President, Strategic Accounts Field Services; attend tradeshows and internal meetings as needed

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of applicable experience
  • Bachelors (Required)
  • Significant comprehensive clinical and/or Strategic Account sales experience
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Result driven attitude with a hunger for success
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats
  • Operate computer programs and software
  • Willingness to travel 41-60% within the US
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
