About the role

  • Manage accounts and develop outcome improvement plans, updating monthly with identified and implemented savings
  • Develop working knowledge of supply chain services, contract portfolio offerings, committed and aggregation programs, and strategic supplier relationships
  • Position Premier as a strategic partner and trusted advisor; participate in strategic account planning with Account Executive and stakeholders
  • Provide savings and financial updates for Quarterly Business Reviews and recurring meetings
  • Cultivate relationships across supply chain services and business lines to drive contract adoption and account growth
  • Drive contract penetration via savings opportunity analytics and presentations; coach members on value of Premier contracts and products
  • Manage strategic supplier and partner relationships and resolve member and supplier issues (collect, document, probe, escalate, recommend)
  • Become a proficient user of supply chain tools; manage customer data, analytics, and member rostering
  • Educate customers on running reports and identifying opportunities in conjunction with client services
  • Support administrative tasks: update monitoring/tracking tools, Salesforce, time and expense reports, and represent Client Management internally
  • Make presentations at conferences, workshops, and board retreats as appropriate
  • Assist with product implementation service delivery and overall project management; lead problem resolution to meet customer expectations

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of applicable experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Ability to prepare and present clinical and/or financial data utilizing Excel, Access, Power Point and Premier tools
  • Ability to conduct/facilitate management level discussions to identify needs and translate to Premier solutions
  • Strong knowledge of the issues surrounding the market of health systems
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-accountable
  • Experience with salesforce.com, reporting, and analytics tools
  • Travel 21-40% within the US
  • Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods; able to perform sedentary work
