About the role
- Manage accurate revenue and expense numbers for Greenhealth Exchange (GX)
- Coordinate annual audit materials and manage the annual certified audit
- Prepare and present quarterly financial reports for the GX Board of Directors
- Produce monthly financial statements and forecasts
- Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Monitor and record bank deposits and disbursement activity
- Prepare the GX and Greenhealth Management annual budgets
- Serve as financial point of contact for HCWH, Practice Greenhealth, and third parties
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and financial guidance for GX team
- Develop expertise in intercompany transactions between HCWH, PG, GM and GX
- Collaborate with GX team and financial team at HCWH/PG; report to Greenhealth Management COO
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Combined experience/education as a substitute for minimum education
- Five years’ experience in a finance-related role
- Strong written communication skills
- Non-profit field experience (preferred)
- BA or BS in Accounting (preferred)
- Ability to work within a complex NGO and remote team environment (preferred)
- Self-motivated and ability to excel under tight deadlines
- Detail oriented with a solid understanding of general book keeping
- Availability: ~12 hours/week and at least 5 hours within U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours
