About the role

  • Build and maintain financial models (P&L, cash flow, unit economics, and cohort analysis) to support business decisions
  • Analyze sales, marketing, and customer data to identify growth drivers, churn risks, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Conduct deep dives into metrics like acquisition costs (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and contribution margin by sales channel and SKU
  • Evaluate new product launches and go-to-market strategies from a financial and data-driven perspective
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor product, channel, and customer-level profitability
  • Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast, and actual performance
  • Support monthly/quarterly reporting for leadership and investors
  • Present data and findings to company leadership in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create SOPs and improve existing processes
  • Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special projects tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel/Google Sheets and SQL; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)
  • Deep experience with e-commerce sales platforms like Shopify, Amazon, ERPs, and similar
  • Prior experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or business intelligence (preferably in e-commerce, CPG, or food industry) is a plus
  • Professional fluency in English with excellent written, reading, and speaking skills
  • Access to a laptop/desktop with reliable and fast Internet connection
  • Ability to work in a US time zone, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day)
  • Previous experience working the overnight shift
