Job Level
About the role
- Lead partnerships and integrations end-to-end: intake, structuring, negotiation, close, and post-signature execution support.
- Own commercial contracting across a wide range of counterparties and products (platform partnerships, distribution, marketing, data, vendors, SaaS, payments, and operational agreements).
- Quarterback cross-functional deal teams with BD, product, engineering, finance, compliance, and marketing.
- Scale the function: templates, playbooks, clause libraries, fallback positions, approvals, and intake/triage systems to improve cycle time.
- Manage and develop junior attorneys (and/or outside counsel): set priorities, maintain quality, unblock negotiations, and build durable processes.
- Drive pragmatic risk decisions—spot issues early, propose solutions, and keep momentum.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in commercial transactions (law firm, in-house, or a mix).
- Deep drafting and negotiation experience across partnership and integration agreements, plus core commercial terms: fees/revenue share, SLAs, IP, data rights, security, audit/controls, indemnities, and limitation of liability.
- Demonstrated ability to run multiple negotiations in parallel in a fast-moving environment.
- Proven experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and managing workflow.
- Clear communicator with high ownership and strong cross-functional instincts.
