About the role
- Process corporate actions and perform company research
- Ensure trade affirmation and settlement targets are met
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations
- Assist in completing documentation relating to new accounts
- Maintain working knowledge of Polar’s trading system
- Recommend solutions for automation and process enhancement
Requirements
- University undergraduate degree
- Desire and a keen interest to work in the financial industry
- Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Excellent independent problem solver
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with SQL and the ability to build basic queries to extract data for reporting and analysis is an asset
