About the role

Design Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and apply IaC principles to manage infrastructure as code
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management for cloud and on-premises environments
Implement and maintain configuration management for consistent, repeatable deployments
Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
Monitor infrastructure performance using tools like Splunk or ELK and set up alerts
Orchestrate network changes for proxies and layer 7 routing platforms
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and provide technical guidance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document processes, and stay updated on technologies
Advocate for DevSecOps methodologies and lead complex problem solving

5+ years of industry-relevant experience (roles at this level typically require 5+ years)
Bachelors degree (in lieu of a degree, comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience accepted)
Experience designing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automating infrastructure provisioning
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python
Configuration management experience (Ansible, Puppet)
Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
CI/CD pipeline integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub)
Monitoring and alerting experience (Splunk, ELK)
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewall) and layer 7 routing/proxy orchestration
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Communication and collaboration skills; ability to work without constant supervision; self-starter
Ability to work in-office or in the field on a regular basis (position primarily based in a PNC location)
