About the role

  • Focus on advanced problem resolution and infrastructure stability
  • Serve as the escalation point for all complex hardware, software, and network incidents, driving issues to complete resolution
  • Manage and maintain core server infrastructure (physical and virtualized environments, e.g., VMware), including patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
  • Oversee and optimize our Active Directory structure, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP services
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT operational documentation and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems
  • Lead small to medium-scale IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or the rollout of new infrastructure technologies
  • Support Global projects to ensure smooth transitions
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for sophisticated network components (e.g., firewalls, managed switches, Wi-Fi configurations)

Requirements

  • 2+ years in an advanced IT support, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering role
  • Deep proficiency with Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022) and virtualization technologies
  • Scripting proficiency using PowerShell for routine administrative tasks and automation is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLAN configuration, and VPN technologies
  • Exceptional diagnostic, analytical, and mentoring abilities to guide colleagues and interact confidently with senior management
  • UK Security clearance will be required for this role.
