Risk

• As our Lead, Business Administration, Corporate & Risk, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the smooth, effective and compliant operation of Playgroup NSW.
• Acting as 2IC to the Executive Lead, Corporate and Governance, you’ll provide high‑quality coordination and oversight across governance, risk, systems, contracts, facilities and corporate administration.
• This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role that supports organisational excellence by maintaining strong governance processes, reliable systems, accurate records and responsive corporate services that enable our teams to focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for families and communities.
• Support organisation‑wide governance processes including meetings, records management, reporting, policies and compliance documentation.
• Maintain risk and incident registers, support reporting cycles, audits, and ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and child‑safe requirements.
• Support ICT administration, CRM data integrity, user access, system improvements and digital workflows.
• Coordinate contracts, legal documentation, insurance, procurement and vendor registers, ensuring effective lifecycle management.
• Support facilities, venues, assets and fleet administration to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations.
• Provide administrative leadership across cross‑organisational projects, reporting, documentation and coordination.
• Build strong relationships across internal teams, suppliers and partners, providing responsive and reliable corporate support.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Oversee daily AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations and transactions
• Deliver accurate monthly/annual reporting, cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting and system optimisation
• Provide financial insights and modelling to the CEO, Leadership Team and Board
• Lead long‑term financial sustainability, scenario planning and audit readiness
• Manage the Risk Register, Compliance Calendar and policy governance
• Coordinate insurance, contract and legal workflows, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Support digital platforms, data governance and cybersecurity
• Provide financial advice to program and operational teams, including modelling, budgeting and grant acquittals
• Build a capable, values‑aligned team through coaching, development and strong cultural leadership
