About the role

  • Lead and grow SRE, DBA, and DevOps/Platform Engineering teams
  • Own production reliability, on-call practices, and incident response
  • Define SLOs and drive continuous reliability improvement
  • Set infrastructure standards and drive the platform roadmap
  • Partner with Security on SOC2 compliance controls
  • Collaborate with product engineering on infrastructure and reliability design
  • Represent infrastructure in enterprise customer and technical due diligence conversations
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure cost at the platform scales

Requirements

  • 10 -15 years total in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering
  • 3+ years engineering management, ideally at a startup or high-growth company
  • Hands-on depth in at least one of: reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD
  • Cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, IaC
  • Experience building on-call practices and SLO frameworks
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Startup adaptability - comfortable being IC-heavy while building the team
  • Experience with AI/ML or data-intensive platforms (Preferred)
  • SOC2 or compliance experience (Preferred)
  • Multi-region infrastructure experience (Preferred)
  • Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is a plus (Preferred)
