About the role
- Shape product strategy through market, competitive and user research; create market requirement documents (MRD) and design alpha/beta experiments to inform product development and launch strategy
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies including positioning, messaging, user education, and in-product marketing to drive adoption and sustained engagement
- Craft strategic narratives for Pinterest’s consumer product offerings aimed at consumers, partners, and investors
- Use data and insights to set goals, measure impact, and guide iteration across launches and ongoing growth initiatives
- Drive cross-functional alignment throughout the go-to-market process, including securing buy-in from the executive team
- Educate and enable internal and external teams with context, resources, and training to champion consumer experiences
- Collaborate with product, engineering, design, research, comms and marketing teams; provide market and customer insights to inform product strategy and define product messaging and positioning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of Consumer product marketing and/or product management experience at a fast growing tech company
- Proven ability to craft compelling positioning, messaging and go-to-market plans that resonate with users
- Strong analytical mindset; comfortable using data to inform decision-making and measure impact
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that carries a degree of ambiguity
