About the role
- Partner with leadership to define and execute the product roadmap in alignment with company goals and customer needs
- Prioritize features and initiatives, weighing user impact, technical feasibility, and resource constraints
- Act as the voice of the user: conduct discovery with operators and program managers to deeply understand workflows and operational challenges
- Translate complex, real-world requirements into clear product specifications and user stories
- Collaborate with engineering and design through the full product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to launch and iteration
- Coordinate with business development and field operations to ensure seamless deployments and customer success
- Track product performance through usage data and feedback loops, continuously improving product quality and usability
- Stay informed about emerging defense, autonomy, and AI technologies to keep Picogrid’s platform ahead of the curve
Requirements
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years managing complex, cross-functional hardware/software products
- Demonstrated success launching and scaling field-deployed or mission-critical products
- Strong track record of engaging directly with end-users and translating their needs into actionable product requirements
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working in fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environments
- Export control eligibility: must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
