About the role
- Principal engineer developing a systematic framework for detection, equalization, and triage of diverse waveform sets
- Develop new methods to detect and characterize known and anomalous waveforms
- Develop a data triage tool to identify physical phenomena or signal properties causing AI model classification failures
- Develop optimized software for resource-constrained edge processing pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to integrate algorithms and models into production
- Serve as hands-on technical contributor for test and evaluation of developed capabilities
- Responsible for unit tests and simulation capabilities for potential propagation scenarios
- Travel up to 20% to meet internal stakeholders and support experimentation and capability evaluation events
- Ensure signal processing methods address mission-critical sensing requirements for U.S. Government end users
Requirements
- 2+ years working with digital signal processing implementation, wireless communications and detection and estimation methods
- 2+ years building channel equalization methods or working with channel propagation modeling
- 2+ years developing optimized processing code in python, C++ or embedded development environments
- 2+ years of signal processing software test and evaluation using hardware in the loop, over the air or other non-software simulation-based capability evaluation
