Capture Manager

• Source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target industries or agencies
• Coordinate partner activities across multiple simultaneous engagements while maintaining clear communication and operational rigor.
• Drive end-to-end capture lifecycle, from early opportunity shaping through proposal development and contract award. This includes a multi-hatted person who can operate at the strategic level to support and develop concepts, as well as own the tactical level of driving proposal/whitepaper writing and analysis.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, decision-makers, and use cases
• Schedule and facilitate discovery calls, demos, and meetings the align with company strategy and government program pursuits
• Drive early capture activities: white papers, RFIs, tech demos, engagements, capability briefings, and TEMs.
• Represent Vannevar at conferences, events, and networking opportunities to generate awareness and leads
• Support contracting activities from proposal to contract administration to contract closeout
• Support negotiations with external partners to ensure agreements are scalable and aligned with company objectives
• Continuously refine prospecting strategies based on market feedback and performance
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on pipeline activity

Capture Manager – Clearance Required

• Master our data and capabilities. We’ve built world-class data collection for some key national security data sets. Understand how we’ve built it, what our differentiators are, and how to take it to the next level.
• Understand our users. You’ll need to understand their missions, challenges, and expectations to build systems that help them.
• Shape our collection approach. You understand how our systems interact with defensive systems, and will develop and implement technical plans that keep high-value data flowing.
• Build and maintain stable, scalable systems. Our customers operate 24x7 and need access to fresh, rich, operationally-relevant data. You will design collection systems that remain stable under sophisticated automated detection regimes.
• Contribute to agentic capability. Ensure the tools you build and collected data is usable by agents (tool-call readiness, retrieval patterns, schemas/metadata, evaluation loops, etc.). Identify gaps where the right data isn’t getting into agent tool calls and coordinate fixes.

Software Engineer, Backend

Frontend Engineer

• Own and evolve core frontend libraries and the application platform that Vannevar's products are built on
• Design and implement shared infrastructure: routing, authentication, error handling, UI components, and cross-app patterns
• Improve developer experience: faster local dev, better build pipelines, and clearer documentation
• Partner with product teams to understand their needs and turn recurring patterns into reusable platform capabilities
• Mentor and guide engineers across the organization on frontend architecture and best practices

Senior Frontend Engineer, Frontend Platform

• Design, build, and ship a cutting edge identity search platform using TypeScript, React, Tailwind, and Node.js
• Partner with customers, mission owners, designers, and other engineers to understand user workflows and create 10x better solutions for their problems
• Implement and maintain search and agentic AI systems for high-scale data, both tabular and graph shaped
• Help define and shape the future of the product

Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

Technical Product Manager

• Define and evolve cross-platform system primitives and structures, translating mission and product needs into durable system behaviors and producing artifacts that clarify system intent (PRDs, specs, evaluation criteria)
• Drive resolution of structural problems spanning multiple engineering organizations
• Build alignment across engineering leadership, design, and mission stakeholders
• Maintain convergence momentum across teams implementing shared capabilities
• Partner with Engineering Managers to translate structural intent into execution plans and hold convergence through delivery
