About the role

  • Support the Diagnostic X-Ray business as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, securing and refining the DXR BU strategy.
  • Lead the strategic planning process, enabling faster decision-making, smarter problem-solving, and sustained competitive advantage.
  • Act as a catalyst for change with leadership and teams to ensure strategy execution and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the development of short-term and long-term business strategies, aligning resource allocation, technology adoption, and business processes with strategic goals.
  • Establish and execute the strategic plan for DXR, defining short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop market forecasting, business development, and alliance management strategies.
  • Identify, create and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategy effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ strategy leadership experience and/or continuous improvement and transformation experience within a large/complex commercial organization.
  • Bachelor's degree ideally in a related field.
  • An advanced degree, ideally an MBA, is highly preferred.
  • Operational skillset and analytical, data driven mindset.
  • Change management and transformation skills.
  • Influencing skills to challenge, educate, guide, convince and gain commitment from senior executives.
  • Communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solutions mindset – the ability to identify and tackle complex problems with thorough consideration of alternatives, consequences.
  • Strong consulting and relationship management skills, executive presence, and credibility with the demonstrated ability to develop effective strategic relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skillset, capable of structured approaches to complex projects and leading cross-functional teams through peer-to-peer influence.
  • Thrives in uncertainty and enjoys unstructured problem-solving.
  • Ability to travel around 30% of the time.
