Medical Science Liaison

• Establish a respectable PharmaEssentia presence in the medical community.
• Identify and develop relationships with the medical community, thought leaders, and treatment advocates.
• Liaise and support the development of key and regional opinion leaders within a broad customer segmentation (community clinics, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), academic centers, etc.).
• Provide high quality medical and scientific support/communications to internal and external customers (e.g., advisory board meetings, regional training courses/workshops together with KOL/ROL, support of speakers with presentations and literature research)
• Lead medical education (disease statement, guidelines, and product information upon FDA approval).
• Manage studies and ensure that proposals are aligned with medical objectives within PharmaEssentia locally and globally.
• Ensure study projects are in line with commercial objectives.
• Maintain a high level of scientific and technical expertise in hematology, oncology, and blood disorders.
• Develop and increase knowledge of medical literature.
• Prepare and present critical reviews of scientific publications and congresses, internally and externally.
• Complete necessary documentation in order to ensure knowledge preservation (e.g., CRM reports).
• Utilize the necessary tools to develop and follow up on strategic measures (project plans).
• Write and ensure timely submission of locally relevant abstracts at congresses.
• Provide cross-functional support for Market Access and other Medical Affairs activities.
• Monitor competitor activities and marketplace changes.

Director

• Assess training needs for selling skills, product knowledge, competitive knowledge, and business acumen
• Develop and lead product-specific and market-specific training programs and materials in conjunction with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Market Access and Analytics teams, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and contribution to sales performance
• Partner with subject matter experts across the organization for training content
• Determine the appropriate mix of training vehicles, such as: web-based, home study, classroom
• Develop assessment tools to validate and document learning and proficiency
• Represent/navigate training initiatives as necessary through Medical Legal Regulatory Committee (MLR) approval process
• Work collaboratively with the Sales Leadership team to establish standards and coordinate delivery of PEC’s training program for new hires and existing members of the field sales organization and internal commercial teams
• Conduct field rides with members of field sales organization to provide in-the-field coaching, assess training needs, and evaluate training effectiveness and document observations and coaching steps via Field Coaching Report
• Evaluate and improve program effectiveness through assessment tools, defined KPIs, testing and user feedback; continually seek and support new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered
• Support the development of cross-functional training workshops and programs, including product launch, New Hire, POA, and national business meeting

Associate Director, Commercial Training

• The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with key HCP partners and influential individuals within Hematology/Oncology, through strategic collaborations and marketing initiatives.
• Key duties include researching potential KOLs in both Academic and Community settings, developing engagement strategies, negotiating partnership terms, tracking campaign performance, and maintaining ongoing communication with key influencers.
• Contribute to the development of engagement strategy for the assigned region; and execute to optimize results. Research and identify relevant Key Opinion Leaders within the target market based on their audience reach, credibility, and alignment with brand values.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to ensure KOL suitability for collaborations. Initiate contact with potential KOLs and pitch partnership opportunities.
• Establish strong, authentic relationships with KOLs through regular communication and engagement. Understand KOLs' specific needs, interests, and audience demographics to tailor collaboration strategies.
• Provide KOLs with necessary information, demo samples, or materials to facilitate effective content evaluation and/or creation.
• Collaborate with Sales to fortify HCP relationship with PharmaEssentia.
• Lead and direct insight gathering among opinion leaders including one-on-one engagements, small group meetings, national and regional advisory boards and steering committees to gather actionable information, coordinating with other functions.
• Monitor the competitive landscape, treatment protocols and other market trends, report findings to marketing, provide actionable recommendations and pull through tactical initiatives.
• Support and manage commercial advisory boards / steering committees.
• Develop targeted P2P marketing material/messaging aligned with brand objectives.
• Review P2P content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Provide input for Speaker Bureau development, training, etc.
• Lead KOL engagement at key congress meetings. Manage KOLs for internal meetings and external events.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, conversions, and brand mentions across P2P campaigns. Monitor campaign progress and adjust as needed to optimize results. Analyze campaign data to identify successes and areas for improvement, generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison – Central

Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison – West

Pharmacist

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications with specialty pharmacy (SP) partners.
• Ensure smooth case pull through and an optimal patient experience for those served through the SP channel.
• Manage all follow up with SP partners and internal stakeholders, collaborating across teams to resolve issues.
• Remove access barriers and meet patient needs.
• Support SP data quality to track trends and proactively anticipate and address challenges or access barriers.
• Provide consistent and effective communication to all appropriate stakeholders.
• Build strong partnerships with Specialty Pharmacy partners to improve patient access.
• Prepare and publish weekly data tracking tools for internal stakeholders’ visibility into specialty pharmacy cases.
• Support copay card program escalations and claims resolution.
• Evaluate and innovate around processes related to working relationships with specialty pharmacies.
