About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications with specialty pharmacy (SP) partners.
  • Ensure smooth case pull through and an optimal patient experience for those served through the SP channel.
  • Manage all follow up with SP partners and internal stakeholders, collaborating across teams to resolve issues.
  • Remove access barriers and meet patient needs.
  • Support SP data quality to track trends and proactively anticipate and address challenges or access barriers.
  • Provide consistent and effective communication to all appropriate stakeholders.
  • Build strong partnerships with Specialty Pharmacy partners to improve patient access.
  • Prepare and publish weekly data tracking tools for internal stakeholders’ visibility into specialty pharmacy cases.
  • Support copay card program escalations and claims resolution.
  • Evaluate and innovate around processes related to working relationships with specialty pharmacies.
  • Establish and maintain professional and effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Direct experience working for, or with specialty pharmacies.
  • High level of proficiency using data and analytics tools and platforms.
  • Minimum 3 years of specialty pharmacy, case management, patient access, or HUB vendor relationship management experience.
  • Strong background in insurance, reimbursement, and payer landscape as it relates to specialty pharmacies, PBMs, and pharmacy benefit design.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business, customer, and patient needs/requirements.
  • Willingness to travel up to ~10% domestically.
