About the role
- Conduct detailed financial modeling, scenario analysis, and valuation
- Prepare investment committee materials including screening memos and full investment memoranda
- Support due diligence efforts including coordination with legal, tax, consultants, and third-party advisors
- Participate in structuring and negotiating transaction terms and documentation
- Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies
- Assist in the development and execution of turnaround plans and strategic initiatives
- Prepare periodic valuation analyses and reporting for stakeholders
- Perform industry and company research to support investment theses
- Track macroeconomic trends and sector-specific developments
- Interface with management teams, lenders, legal counsel, and advisors
- Collaborate with internal teams including legal, tax, and fund operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, restructuring advisory, asset management, or consulting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong financial analysis capabilities including proficiency in interpreting financial statements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines
- Participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) program is a plus
