Serve as member of Thoracic Development Global Product Teams and Global Medical Strategy Lead for Late Phase Thoracic
Lead execution of evidence and insight generation, interpretation and dissemination activities
Lead a team of 1-2 Medical Directors or Medical Strategy Directors
Partner cross-functionally with medical teams, health and value functions, clinical development, legal, compliance and commercial teams to execute activities
Collaborate directly with development teams, product teams and country medical teams to understand unmet medical needs and medical environment and integrate needs and insights to co-create a global medical plan
Lead Global Medical Affairs Team and represent medical in Global Product Team and relevant subcommittees
Support or lead evidence generation activities including independent research, clinical and research collaborations, Pfizer non-interventional and interventional studies including post-hoc data generation
Lead internal data interpretation and alignment activities
Provide input to strategies around evidence dissemination and education activities including scientific publications and scientific exchange
Requirements
PhD/PharmD
Experience in Medical Affairs required
Clinical experience in Oncology preferred
A minimum of five years industry experience preferred
Launch experience a plus
International experience a plus
Regulatory and/or clinical development experience a plus
Proven track record of ability to work successfully with cross-functional colleagues in a matrix team setting across countries and internationally with diverse colleagues
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
Fluency in written and spoken English required
This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States
