About the role

  • Lead country and regional medical operations across MERA
  • Provide operational support to the CMAO and partner with the MERA Medical Affairs Leadership Team
  • Support effective governance processes/meetings
  • Responsible for end to end fit for purpose governance planning/execution
  • Lead efforts in partnership with MERA Cluster Medical Lead for Regional Plan development
  • Drive change & transformations, working collaboratively with MERA Medical Affairs colleagues
  • Lead development of Operating Plan communication for MERA Medical Affairs LT
  • Ensure communication between platforms and EM CMAO Operational and Change Excellence
  • Driving alignment across MERA on both in-person and omnichannel engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years with bachelor’s degree; 5+ years with master’s degree
  • >5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or related fields
  • Prior experience in Medical Affairs is preferred
  • Prior experience in Project Management, Business/Medical Operations is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster productive relationships across functions and geographies
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions including Medical (Customer Facing and HQ), Field Medical Excellence, Compliance, Medical Information, Corporate Communications, Digital, BOPs, Commercial, MQG and related Global/Regional partners
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
