About the role

  • Lead a team of high functioning individual contributors responsible for driving commercial brand strategy.
  • Act as a thought partner to senior US & Global franchise leads on portfolio decisions and overarching strategy.
  • Develop and execute creation of in-house knowledge base to drive patient and HCP insights.
  • Lead team that develops and monitors key performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness of brand’s marketing campaign.
  • Oversee development of Long-Range Forecasts (LRFs) and Operating Plans; ensure accurate effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership.
  • Lead dialogue to integrate insights across various GCA cross-functional teams – Data Science, Performance Analytics, etc.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering or similar related field required; MS or MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years in consulting, finance or market analytics
  • 7+ years at a high-value level (e.g., US & Global) developing data-driven brand strategy for major portfolio (>$3B)
  • Forecasting experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data and analyses and communicate effectively
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive, who thrives on intellectual challenge and raises the bar in terms of quality work
  • Defined involvement in helping frame, design & execute solutions for challenging business situations
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines, including primary and secondary data, with a keen understanding of output and quality/timely insight derivation
  • Team-orientation and collaborative approach; outstanding listening skills and the ability to manage through influence
  • Exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity, a creative visionary who can drive innovation
  • Sophisticated executive demeanor, comfortable functioning at the highest levels of organizations; excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to influence and drive change at all levels in an organization
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
