About the role
- Provide bio-analytical assay technical and operational expertise to Study Teams
- Support assay development and validation
- Function as key contact with external and internal clinical labs
- Collaborate with Study Teams to ensure appropriate sample handling during clinical trials
- Serve as subject matter expert for biomarker testing technologies
- Manage the timely testing and analysis of clinical trial samples
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant scientific field or MS with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with research and development of biologic therapeutics
- Experience and expertise in biomarker selection trials
- Understanding of translational approaches in clinical trial design
- Development, validation, and implementation of platform technologies in clinical trials
- Understanding of clinical laboratory regulatory and compliance requirements
- Ability to think strategically and creatively while managing multiple projects
- Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience collaborating, leading, influencing, and motivating others
- CRO management and outsourcing engagement expertise is preferred
