About the role
- Drive revenue and business growth for Pfizer’s Hospital & Biosimilar Business
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and negotiate contracts with national and regional wholesalers
- Lead business planning and execution for priority wholesale and specialty distributor accounts
- Organize and facilitate executive-level meetings and ensure product stocking goals are met
- Negotiate and manage all wholesaler agreements and provide contract management expertise
- Contribute to sales strategy development and support colleague training on contracts
- Present and sell Pfizer Hospital Business products and biosimilars
- Administer dynamic sales programs and maintain effective communication with customers
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for major accounts
Requirements
- BS or BA degree or equivalent experience
- 8 years of demonstrated success in business and account management
- Experience with Wholesale, Distributor, and National Accounts
- Detailed understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and classes of trade, especially the Multisource Injectables Marketplace & Biosimilars
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Experience and training in pricing and contracts negotiations
- Established working knowledge of contracts and charge-backs and related systems
- Solid interpersonal and communications skills
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
- Demonstrated ability to pass background checks including verification of all provided references
