Requirements

  • We are looking for a Director of Sales who will be responsible for managing all sales activity. The ideal candidate must have experience with Sales Management, People Management, Process Improvements, as well as Best Practices Implementation. This position will train and manage a team of people to match the DIS solutions with customer needs. This position will develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve annual targets, build long lasting relationships, and understand customer trends and needs. It also includes working with our professional services and support teams along with our product teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Excellent and timely verbal and written communication skills are a must. You will also be part of the Leadership team at DIS reporting directly to the General Manager.
  • Outcomes : New Business: Determine how DIS can win New Business and build out an appropriate target market that DIS can win in Achieve 100% coverage of our New Business Prospects with the mix of our BDR team and our New Business team through both remote and onsite visits Build and understand the New Business Sales Pipeline Back to Base: Learn the existing DIS accounts/market space and develop a plan that allows DIS to retain and improve satisfaction through account management and selling products back to the base Achieve 100% back to base coverage with the appropriate mix of meaningful conversations via phone/email/text and onsite visits Build and understand the Back to Base Sales Pipeline People: Build and manage a high performing team that can win both New Business and win Back to Base Sales for DIS and execute on the points above Build a sales culture that desires to “Win”. This culture must include people that are curious about learning our product offerings, learning our customers and how dealerships operate, and have a willingness to travel and be present working side by side with our customers. Build a team that is willing to travel for Back to Base visits, New Business Opportunities, Trade Shows, User Groups, OEM visits, etc. Build out standard work flow that includes clearly stated roles and responsibilities for each team member and that the processes are followed as outlined Pricing, this role will own the DIS Pricing scheme for all products and services. You will have to work with the DIS Leadership team to ensure alignment
