Provide in-depth creative problem solving across Procurement Operations and various departments to develop solutions, identify trends, and uncover insights to service customers
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Create and maintain comprehensive reports to support decision-making processes
Interface with supply chain partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement practices and improve service
Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Analyze tariff changes and activities to determine and report impact to the business, including monthly variance tracking and reporting
Audit customs entries to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, FDA, and other relevant regulations
Maintain processes to meet U.S. Customs' five components of effective internal controls: Control environment, Risk assessment, Internal control activities, Information & communication, and Monitoring
Requirements
3-5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, demand planning, consulting or related field
A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related field highly preferred
Excel, business intelligence, and/or “Big Data” skills required
SAP experience highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to effectively operate in cross-functional teams and lead projects to completion (Results Driven)
Persuasive written and oral communication skills; able to support controversial positions and manage sensitive/confidential issues
Problem solving skills: improve processes, foster innovation, deliver results despite incomplete or ambiguous information
Analytic reasoning: high degree of skill with calculations and numbers; attention to detail and accuracy
APICS CPIM, Customs Broker License, or other supply chain professional certifications is a plus
Knowledge of U.S. Customs, FDA, and other relevant regulations; experience auditing customs entries
Experience analyzing tariff changes and monthly variance tracking and reporting
