About the role
- Work closely with the ACT Supply Chain Director and Corporate Indirect Sourcing organization
- Report to the Supply Chain Director Europe for Actuation Technologies BU in Europe
- Settle sourcing strategy to meet speed, reliability, cost, cash and quality targets for assigned categories
- Develop the suppliers' panel and set up partnerships, preferred or on demand supply agreements
- Develop new suppliers, partnering with Global Category Managers
- Align and streamline indirect supply base to meet BU requirements
- Implement project procurement strategies and cost reduction projects within assigned budgets
- Coordinate logistics for Actuation Europe and implement global logistic strategies
- Analyze and negotiate terms and conditions of commercial offers
- Identify cost reduction opportunities across EU ACT BUs for indirect and logistics
- Orchestrate risk management and supplier relationship initiatives by segment
- Lead assets and investments for BUs, including CAPEX
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and sourcing policies and procedures
Requirements
- Technical or Business Bachelor Degree
- 3+ years of Purchasing and Material Management experience
- Experience in Indirect, Logistic and Project Procurement buy out with market knowledge
- Experience in “tailor made” industrial business
- Proficiency in English and Italian
- SAP shown understanding (preferred)
- Deep knowledge of Casting, Metal Machining and Fabrication (preferred)
- Good understanding of computers, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing applications (preferred)
