About the role
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank transactions; Monitor daily bank activity and match transactions; Collaborate with internal departments to resolve reconciling items; Use Cadency software; Investigate and resolve discrepancies; Prepare journal entries and reports; Support month/quarter/year-end close processes; Analyze financial trends and recommend improvements; Assist with audit documentation; Maintain compliance with accounting standards; Participate in team projects and serve as backup; Maintain organized documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or directly related discipline; 3+ years of experience in reconciliation accounting; Cadency certification preferred; Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Familiarity with Cadency, Cadency Match, SAP.
