About the role
- Effectively plan & carry out account management in order to achieve turnover & gross profit budgets within Perrigo UK's range of products within a given account portfolio
- Identify & deliver new business opportunities and plan supply of an agreed range
- Lead a team across a leading Health and Beauty retailer with a customer first and category centric approach
- Build and maintain close customer relationships through appropriate communication to strengthen Perrigo credibility and influence with the customer
- Leverage Joint Business Planning to plan & prioritise customer sales activities and achieve agreed business aims
- Retain overall responsibility for profit, loss and growth in their key accounts
- Maintain customer account plans and ensure day to day communication with retailer buying teams
- Help develop sustainable, focused solutions to customer issues building long term partnership
- Manage any supply issues with customers through contact within customer and Perrigo supply chains
Requirements
- Relevant Commercial & Business Awareness transferable to the Self Care industry
- Currently leading an account team at SNAM level
- Knowledge of both the Grocery and Pharmacy/Drug retail sector from an account management perspective
- Knowledge of the Healthcare sector from a Store Brand and Branded perspective
- Ability to analyse, interpret and disseminate data accurately
- Educated to degree level ideally in a related business discipline
- Numeracy and Literacy - capable of writing cohesive reports/proposals for review by senior management and undertaking data analysis of core market and account data
- Computer literacy – familiar with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Current full valid UK driving license
