About the role
- Effectively plan and carry out account management in line with the defined strategic plan.
- Drive and build sustainable sales growth through the development of strong customer relationships.
- Achieve turnover and gross profit budgets of Perrigo Omega’s range of products globally.
- Manage and develop relationships with allocated customers.
- Identify opportunities to grow business with customers and develop plans to achieve growth.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings necessary to perform duties.
- Influence, monitor, control and communicate customers’ forecast demand against budget and forecast.
- Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business.
- Take an active approach to prospecting for new business.
- Build strong professional relationships with the customer portfolio at all levels.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales/business development in the FMCG/Generic market within the UK/EU.
- A tertiary qualification in business, marketing or healthcare discipline would be advantageous.
- Experience of dealing at multiple management levels and functions within key blue chip company.
- A proven customer focused orientation and ability to represent the customer internally whilst having knowledge and understanding of corporate standards and process.
- Proven sales, negotiation and influencing skills with an excellent communication and teamwork approach.
- Ability to analyze data to identify market trends and potential strategies to capitalize on them through customer/account management both internally and externally.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft software including Word, Excel.
