About the role

  • Effectively plan and carry out account management in line with the defined strategic plan.
  • Drive and build sustainable sales growth through the development of strong customer relationships.
  • Achieve turnover and gross profit budgets of Perrigo Omega’s range of products globally.
  • Manage and develop relationships with allocated customers.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with customers and develop plans to achieve growth.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings necessary to perform duties.
  • Influence, monitor, control and communicate customers’ forecast demand against budget and forecast.
  • Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business.
  • Take an active approach to prospecting for new business.
  • Build strong professional relationships with the customer portfolio at all levels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales/business development in the FMCG/Generic market within the UK/EU.
  • A tertiary qualification in business, marketing or healthcare discipline would be advantageous.
  • Experience of dealing at multiple management levels and functions within key blue chip company.
  • A proven customer focused orientation and ability to represent the customer internally whilst having knowledge and understanding of corporate standards and process.
  • Proven sales, negotiation and influencing skills with an excellent communication and teamwork approach.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify market trends and potential strategies to capitalize on them through customer/account management both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft software including Word, Excel.
