About the role
- Own end-to-end interview scheduling across product engineering, and business roles — coordinating complex multi-stakeholder panels across time zones
- Serve as the primary candidate touchpoint from first to final interview, ensuring every interaction reflects Perplexity’s speed and quality
- Maintain accurate, real-time data in Ashby ATS, ensuring every candidate record is complete and up-to-date
- Track and analyze recruiting data and surface insights for the recruiting team
- Initiate and contribute to projects that will improve and scale our recruiting processes
- Coordinate candidate travel, reimburse expenses, and manage onsite interview logistics for our San Francisco office
Requirements
- 1–3 years of recruiting coordination or similar experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with ATS and modern scheduling tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage high-volume scheduling across multiple roles, teams, and time zones
- Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
- Sound judgment and discretion when working with sensitive hiring information
- Familiarity with startup culture and the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
- Interest in AI and Perplexity’s mission to power the world's curiosity
- Nice to Have: 1-2 years of experience working at startups, Experience with scheduling automation platforms (Ashby, or similar), Familiarity with data analysis and building ATS dashboards, Executive and/or M&A coordination experience
