About the role
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner
- Assist with revenue recognition, expense allocation, and intercompany accounting as applicable
- Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAP
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice review, coding, and reconciliations
- Assist with cash management, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations
- Review payroll-related entries and support payroll reconciliations in coordination with HR and payroll providers
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal management reports
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from Finance & Accounting leadership
- Help document accounting policies, procedures, and process improvements
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 3–4 years of accounting experience (public accounting or technology industry experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Experience with accounting systems and Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas)
- Experience with ERP or accounting platforms (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Progress toward CPA or other accounting certification
