About the role
- Partner directly with the CEO to prioritize, plan, and execute key initiatives
- Act as an extension of the CEO to keep projects moving and decisions organized
- Anticipate needs, surface risks, and proactively solve problems
- Maintain and update financial models to support planning and decision making
- Manage vendor relationships including negotiation, renewals, and optimization
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with leadership
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency
- Own HR administration including payroll, benefits, onboarding, and compliance
- Support recruiting coordination and candidate experience
- Help plan and execute culture building initiatives such as team events and offsites
- Own special projects from idea through execution as needs arise
- Create structure where none exists and drive initiatives to completion
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Lead, or Chief of Staff at an early stage startup
- Strong organizational and execution skills with high attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data, financial models, and ambiguity
- Resourceful, proactive, and excited to wear many hats
