About the role
- help customers’ DBA teams with high complexity problems
- gather relevant data and investigate issues to provide detailed analysis
- author new blog posts on interesting topics for open-source community
- answering questions on forums
- creating new articles in customer-facing knowledge base
Requirements
- deep, hands-on, expert knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL
- experience with containerization and Kubernetes
- database performance tuning experience
- demonstrable experience administering Linux systems
- fluent in communicating with customers in English
- available to travel internationally for occasional team meetings, conferences, or customer visits
- self-taught, self-directed, and enthusiastic about growing your skillset with new technologies
