About the role
- We’re searching for someone who thrives on winning new business; identify leads, cold call, gain appointments, and execute a sales funnel to close
- Represent PeopleReady in assigned territory, accounts, or verticals to satisfy customer staffing needs
- Engage with local branch teams to ensure customers’ orders are filled with the talent they need
- Assist local Branch Managers with penetration and retention selling for existing customers
- Close orders and ensure proper documentation is complete
- Ensure sales growth through aggressive market strategies and account development; hit sales targets in revenue and profitability
- Leverage all channels of communication to build strong internal and external relationships
- Embrace the Counselor Sales Process (CSP) as a selling methodology
- Perform additional responsibilities as required
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing for long periods; regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently 25 lbs, occasionally 50 lbs
- Extensive local travel required within the territory; valid driver’s license and good safety record required; occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions
Requirements
- 3+ years related sales experience
- Bachelor’s, associate degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Managed a sales portfolio of at least $2.5M per annum
- Sales experience in one or more blue-collar vertical markets
- Functional knowledge of Federal and State Human Resources regulations
- Strong communication skills and the gift of persuasion
- Proficient in using MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- Bilingual language skills a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Possess additional qualifications as needed
