About the role
- Evaluate capacity needs, consumption trends, and inventory availability to ensure accurate forecasts and business readiness.
- Develop a strong understanding of how product, site engineering, and editorial strategies influence inventory supply and yield.
- Analyze and articulate performance across multiple revenue sources including onsite advertising, offsite monetization, and 3rd-party partnerships.
- Deliver clear, concise reporting to senior management on inventory availability, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with Ad Operations, Sales, and Product teams to ensure inventory is leveraged effectively to meet business goals.
- Surface opportunities and risks through data analysis, delivering actionable recommendations to drive yield optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in media operations, ad operations, yield analytics, or related field.
- Strong technical skills with SQL, BigQuery, Looker, and Tableau (or similar BI/analytics tools).
- Proven ability to develop, manage, and present forecasts to senior leadership.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand the interplay between product, engineering, editorial, and monetization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
