About the role
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of PayPal’s loyalty and rewards infrastructure
- Shape APIs, services, and tools that power global loyalty use cases
- Partner with engineering, data science, product, and marketing to enable scalable, flexible, and innovative experiences
- Ensure product teams can seamlessly build, launch, and optimize offerings that delight customers and deliver measurable impact
- Balance near-term execution with long-term vision while considering regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs and product profitability
- Monitor metrics including usability studies, research and market analysis to inform product success
- Manage workstreams including analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making
- Monitor product profitability measures, including budget
- Participate in Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews and interface with product leadership as needed
- Partner with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Loyalty Expertise – Proven experience designing or scaling loyalty and membership solutions to drive customer engagement
- Platform Product Experience – Strong background in building and managing platform capabilities that enable scale, extensibility, and cross-team impact
- Operational Mindset – Experience driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and building scalable systems to support growth
- Agility in Ambiguity – Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments; able to bring clarity, prioritize effectively, and deliver results amid change
