About the role
- Contribute to high impact AWS cloud infrastructure initiatives
- Participate in operability reviews and production readiness reviews
- Advocate and implement Site Reliability Engineering practices
- Enhance the feature set of the new kubernetes developer platform
- Provide tooling and automation to facilitate self service
- Support and maintain critical infrastructure components
Requirements
- Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or backend/infrastructure engineering
- Proficient with a programming language like Python and shell scripting
- Hands on experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering practices (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs)
- Knowledgeable in configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment systems
- Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
