About the role
- Own all payment partner relationships and maintain them as necessary
- Build and maintain relationships with payment partners to accelerate growth and minimize costs
- Work closely with product development teams to refine payments strategy
- Champion fans and creators to ensure reliable payment experiences at scale
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in global payment processing
- Deep understanding of pay-ins on merchant platforms
- Deep understanding of the payment processing partner landscape
- Ability to successfully negotiate complex payment partner agreements
- Experience with payments optimization (e.g., maximizing auth rates, minimizing costs)
- Deep understanding of analytics and reporting for payments
- Payouts experience preferred
- Strong leadership, exceptional decision-making skills, and project management skills
- Ability to work directly with engineers and product managers
- Concise communication
