About the role
- Develop and execute PatientFi’s HR roadmap to support organizational growth, employee engagement, and talent development
- Lead end-to-end HR operations including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation, HRIS and benefits
- Serve as a strategic partner to PatientFi leadership, shaping org design and people strategy as we scale
- Lead, develop, and mentor a growing HR team
- Build and lead a high-performing recruiting function to attract top talent across departments
- Design and implement learning and development programs to support career growth and skill-building
- Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning
- Coach and mentor senior leaders to build people management capabilities and accountability
- Continue to foster a values-driven, inclusive, and high-performance culture
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback loops, and recognition programs
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related matters
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining a positive employee experience
- Manage investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters with transparency and consistency
- Oversee culture-building efforts across remote and hybrid teams, ensuring a cohesive and inclusive employee experience regardless of location
- Lead internal HR reporting and analytics, including headcount, turnover, and engagement metrics
- Partner with Finance to align compensation strategy with budget and market benchmarks
- Drive automation and scalability in HR systems and reporting
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven experience scaling and developing People teams, with a track record of building high-performing HR/People functions in high-growth environments, preferably in fintech, tech or financial services
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and best practices (U.S. labor law, benefits, compensation, employee relations)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and data analytics tools, preferably Rippling
- Experience managing direct reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- Familiarity with modern HR platforms and remote-first workforce strategies
- Prior leadership in scaling HR functions in a Series B+ growth-stage company
- SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification is highly preferred
