About the role
- Receive and log service requests via phone, email, and internal systems
- Create service calls and work orders accurately
- Schedule Field Service Engineers (FSEs) according to availability and priority
- Enter service notes, failure descriptions, and resolution details as provided
- Attach POs, quotes, and supporting documents
- Maintain clean, organized service records
- Place parts orders using provided part numbers
- Track shipments and update ETAs
- Ensure exchange/return documentation is sent respectively
- Provide basic status updates and scheduling confirmations
- Communicate ETAs and appointment windows
- Route escalations to senior team members
- Communicate with FSEs regarding schedules and job status
- Support Service Operations Specialists with administrative tasks
- Accurate work order creation
- Timely scheduling
- Minimal data entry errors
- Positive internal responsiveness
- On-time follow-through
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with computers and ticketing systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Applies critical thinking to troubleshoot issues and make timely, well-reasoned judgment calls.
- Customer service or dispatch experience
- Healthcare background - highly preferred.
