About the role

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of test strategies and test cases.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs thoroughly and ensure resolution.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and help establish QA best practices.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our QA processes.
  • Analyze test results, root causes of issues, and suggest process improvements.
  • Actively participate in design and specification reviews and provide a QA perspective.
  • Advocate for the end-user experience across products.

Requirements

  • **Required Skills and Qualifications:**
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • - 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
  • - Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • - Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • - Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
  • - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
