About the role
- Identify and secure new business, expand into new markets, and develop strategic partnerships
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and forecasts, reporting on performance and targets
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Key Accounts, Product, and Support to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Provide customer and market feedback to improve products, services, and processes
Requirements
- Strong understanding of school catering and enterprise sales across schools, MATs, LAs, and catering providers
- Proven success in B2B sales with a track record of closing deals
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Commercially astute with excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Technically proficient (MS Office and modern business systems)
- Able to prioritise, multitask, and collaborate effectively across teams
- A clear vision for the future of catering in education
