Driving the growth of our company through new client acquisition including developing new advisor and CPA relationships through marketing, sponsoring or co-sponsoring events, networking, cold-calling, referrals, and nurturing existing relationships.
Preparing fee proposals, preparing illustrations, and technical research required for obtaining new plans.
Implementing effective sales strategies tailored to meet and exceed sales targets.
Relationship development and management with financial advisors, CPAs, recordkeepers, and other centers of influence including regular meetings and educational seminars.
Producing fee proposals, illustrations, tracking and reporting of sales activity.
Work with Conversion Team to transition new retirement plans after the sale, including initial plan design call.
Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing plans.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years related experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
ASPPA designation preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate the value of our services and tailor to client needs.
Must have superior written and presentation skills and ability to deliver presentations to groups, virtual and in-person.
Ability to effectively manage time and independently achieve sales goals.
Knowledge and deep understanding of our industry and the regulatory environment.
Ability to read and interpret plan documents.
Demonstrated ability to learn complex subject matter.
Must have knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence, excel spreadsheets, and reconcile numbers.
