About the role
- Translate workforce data into clear, functional insights that inform executive team decisions about talent, organizational health, and the success of HR programs.
- Lead the creation and evolution of strategic HR dashboards and KPIs used in Monthly Business Reviews with the Chief People Officer.
- Break down complex or ambiguous workforce challenges and structure them into data-driven questions, analyses, and recommendations.
- Oversee utilization and expansion of our workforce analytics platforms (e.g., One Model), ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and useful for HR and business stakeholders.
- Partner with HR Product, HR Operations, and enterprise technology teams to enhance data quality, integrate new datasets, and improve reporting capabilities.
- Evaluate and guide analytics approaches used across HR—ensuring they are applicable, ethical, and aligned with our business needs.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation, and Finance to understand business needs and deliver insight-driven solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to stakeholders across all levels, including senior executives.
- Work with product and operations teams to design, refine, or support data-informed HR processes and tools.
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional analytics and workforce planning initiatives from concept through execution.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve access to insights, and modernize how HR uses data to operate.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members developing analytics, visualization, and storytelling skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, analytics, or related fields a plus
- 7–10+ years of experience in workforce analytics, HR strategy, consulting, or related analytical/strategic roles
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities; able to interpret large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions without needing to be a technical modeler
- Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, One Model, Visier)
- Experience leading cross-functional projects in dynamic environments
- Strong understanding of HR concepts across the talent lifecycle (e.g., recruiting, performance, retention, workforce planning)
- Great communication and storytelling skills & able to translate data into a clear narrative for technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex projects and competing deadlines
- Ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and work effectively across organizational levels
- Curiosity, creativity, and tenacity in approaching ambiguous challenges
- Interest in the media and entertainment industry is a plus.
