About the role
- Own the founder’s operating system: inbox, calendar, priorities, and follow-through
- Manage personal admin (banking, leases, visas, real estate, payments)
- Coordinate travel with built-in flexibility, and scheduling interviews for the podcast
- Investing & Real estate management
- Negotiate with banks, vendors and service providers, real estate and find leverage even when power is asymmetric
- Build credible BATNAs (even when not obvious)
- Benchmark pricing, terms, timelines, and market standards
- Design pressure points: deadlines, penalties, escalation paths
- Own complex projects end-to-end (business and personal)
- Coordinate experts (legal, technical, financial) without becoming dependent on them
- Maintain a clean decision record and commitment log
- Own execution cadence (priorities, OKR, follow-through, and progress tracking)
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable operating systems (processes, tools, automations, AI, knowledge base) and eliminate root causes
- Source, screen, review and interview candidates
- Find excellent service providers, suppliers, partners, and employees in the top 10%
- Facilitate multi-country admin (France, Portugal, Spain, UAE)
Requirements
- Strong analytical background required, demonstrated through either graduation from a top-tier business or engineering school or at least 2 years operating as the backbone of a successful startup founder, with direct exposure to decisions, trade-offs, and execution under pressure.
