Responsible for all aspects of sales planning, strategy implementation and execution within the Western Division
Collaborates with distributor partners including Republic National Distributor Company
Develops overall sales strategies, priorities, and performance measures for the company
Leads and develops a best-in-class sales team; ensures plan attainment and collaboration with wholesale partners
Champions company culture and supports team objectives
Manages cross-functional execution of multi-year strategy and annual sales plan
Improves divisional P&L, efficiency, and profit; enforces price strategies
Mentors four direct reports across multiple states in the Western region; sets quarterly priorities
Monitors regional sales climate and localized trends; reacts to competitive actions and new sales ideas
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field (leadership capable to recruit, train, develop and motivate key accounts team)
Must have ability to interact with and present to buyers and key distributor personnel
Knowledge of and ability to dissect consumer data such as IRI or AC Nielsen for the purpose of gaining understanding of business opportunities and developing presentations
Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere
Must be a proven sales leader in retail with customer headquarters call experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience in wine & spirits sales with proven results
History of achieving sales growth, profit, and volume
Detail oriented, persuasive, and able to multi-task while maintaining high level of customer service
Strong communication & negotiation skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to build compelling and creative sales presentations with Sales, Marketing, and Consumer Insights; provide features and benefits
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects
Knowledge of consumer/shopper behavior in Western Division business by premise type
