About the role
- You are the first point of contact for IT issues in both Windows and macOS environments.
- You troubleshoot hardware and software problems with high service quality and a solution-oriented approach.
- You handle IT tickets using remote support tools or directly on-site (hybrid support).
- You manage Mobile Device Management and account administration, applying your knowledge of networking and IT security.
- You explain complex technical issues in clear, accessible language using a methodical and analytical approach to IT problems.
- You manage user accounts in Entra ID or Google Workspace.
- You develop PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate recurring IT processes.
- You set up and provide technical support for audio and video conferences.
Requirements
- Vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker/in Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronics Technician (IT-Systemelektroniker/in), or an equivalent qualification.
- Fluent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written.
- Initial professional experience in IT support / user help desk and in supporting Windows and macOS environments, ideally in a dynamic setting.
- First experience with user account management in Entra ID / Google Workspace and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to methodically troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Talent for explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests and to remain resilient in a dynamic work environment.
