About the role
- Serve as the first point of contact for Paddle’s sales efforts as an outbound Business Development Representative
- Generate demand, interest and excitement for Paddle’s products and Merchant of Record payments solution
- Prospect and develop leads; build and own a pipeline of good-fit accounts
- Generate conversations from outbound outreach and warm relationships
- Convert conversations into qualified meeting opportunities for Account Executives
- Partner with marketing on in-person and virtual events to generate demand
- Effectively showcase Paddle via phone, LinkedIn and email
- Manage and prioritise time to consistently achieve and exceed targets
- Collaborate with Account Executives and wider commercial/marketing teams
Requirements
- STEM background at degree level
- Fluency in German (application asks "Are you fluent in German ?")
- French language skills (listed in job requirements)
- Comfortable using multiple outreach methods (videos, events, email sequencing, LinkedIn, social media, phone)
- Ability to prospect and generate own pipeline through outbound sales and calling
- Ability to convert conversations into qualified opportunities for Account Executives
- Incredibly organised and able to manage/prioritise time
