About the role

  • Monitor and track retirement and pension plan reviews to ensure timely completion.
  • Request required materials from record keepers, insurers, and investment providers.
  • Pull and compile investment and fund performance data from Morningstar for analysis.
  • Coordinate and distribute completed plan reviews for small clients.
  • Track AIR filing requirements for registered pension plans and monitor compliance timelines.
  • Respond to member inquiries regarding enrolment, contributions, investments, and general plan information.
  • Liaise with carriers, record keepers, and internal team members to resolve member issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain and restructure shared digital plan folders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review plan files and proactively request missing documentation from carriers and service providers.
  • Ensure all new business and ongoing servicing documentation is received and properly organized.
  • Support new business sales by coordinating required documentation with carriers and providers.
  • Create and maintain client and prospect folders for new plans and conversions.
  • Update CRM records with key plan data, missing details, and changes.
  • Request marketing and benchmarking reports from providers and consolidate received data.
  • Build polished, professional presentations for client marketing, benchmarks, and review meetings.
  • Ensure all materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with branding standards.
  • Create and maintain templates, workflows, and processes to support efficiency and scalable team growth.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and operational tasks.
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the retirement consulting team.

Requirements

  • Post‑secondary education in business, finance, administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in group retirement, pensions, benefits, or financial services
  • Familiarity with Group RRSPs, DPSPs, DC pension plans, and insurer/record keeper processes.
  • Experience with Morningstar, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office
